Office of Multidisciplinary Degrees

Individualized degrees are designed for students who wish to tailor their education to reflect their academic interests and career goals. The increased level of flexibility offered by an individualized degree requires a commitment to academic planning and career exploration. Students pursuing an individualized major at MU build their own degrees with the guidance of an academic advisor. They also use multiple campus resources to ensure that their academic plan includes the kinds of classes and internships they need to be ready to pursue the jobs and careers that interest them.
